In this triptych, I brought together three figures that have fascinated humanity for centuries: Antinous, Venus, and Zeus.

The work began with the shape itself. Inspired by the floral Gothic architecture that I admire in nearby Venice, I designed and cut each wooden panel following the elegant outlines of Venetian Gothic motifs. These historic forms became the stage for a meeting between classical beauty and contemporary visual language.

The backgrounds are animated by vertical lines that introduce rhythm, movement, and freshness. Their modern energy contrasts with the timeless presence of the figures, creating a dialogue between past and present.

The bas-reliefs are modeled by hand using white stucco. Antinous, celebrated in Ancient Rome as the beloved companion of Emperor Hadrian, became an enduring symbol of youthful beauty and idealized perfection. Venus, the Roman goddess of love and beauty, embodies harmony, attraction, and sensual grace. Zeus, king of the Greek gods, represents authority, wisdom, and divine power.

Although separated into three panels, the figures are connected by a common visual language. Together they form a reflection on beauty, memory, and the way classical ideals continue to resonate in the contemporary world.

The artwork is composed of three wooden panels, each measuring 65 x 65 cm (25.6 x 25.6 inches). It is created with acrylic paint, gesso, and stucco. Each panel is equipped with a hanging system on the back and is ready to display.

The surfaces are protected with three layers of transparent varnish, ensuring resistance to UV rays and the passage of time. The artwork is carefully packaged for safe shipping and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
